Nothing to patch at midnight
In October 2026, a pair of critical PHP flaws put websites running PHP everywhere at risk, and attacks started before the fix was out. The websites I build don't run PHP or a server you have to look after, so there was nothing to patch.

I've worked in IT since 1989. I earned a software engineering degree, contracted for big corporate and government clients, founded and ran a Brisbane managed IT business, and spent more than a decade running production hosting for hundreds of WordPress and WooCommerce sites.
