Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and who sees it. Updated 1 November 2026.

Shipshape Digital (ABN 61 235 500 282, run by Stef Floratos in Brisbane) collects as little personal information as possible. We handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • The contact form: your name, email address, business name (if you give it), the topic and your message. The website doesn't store it: it's emailed to us and kept in our business mailbox.
  • When you buy from us: your name, business name, email address and the payment details you enter. Card and bank details go straight to Stripe, our payment provider; we never see or store them.
  • When we work together: the contact details, emails and project information needed for the job. If our work gives us access to your systems, we only look at what the job needs and keep it confidential.
  • Website visits: anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, referring sites, device type) from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across sites.

Cookies

This website doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie, and the spam check on the contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs only on that page.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, quote and deliver the work, invoice you, keep records the law requires (such as tax records, kept for 5 years), and keep the website secure. We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list.

Who helps us

We use a few trusted services to run the business. Some store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting, security, the contact form's spam check and visit statistics.
  • Resend: delivers contact form messages to our mailbox.
  • Microsoft 365: our business email.
  • Stripe: payments and invoices.

Each is a large provider with its own security and privacy commitments. We only share what each one needs to do its job.

Keeping it safe

Our accounts use two-factor sign-in, access is limited to what's needed, and passwords and keys are kept in a password manager, never in emails or notes.

Seeing or correcting your information

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (unless the law needs us to keep it, such as tax records). Email hello@shipshapedigital.com.au and we'll reply within 30 days.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, email us first and we'll try to put it right. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au (opens in a new tab).

Changes

We'll update this page if anything changes, and show the date at the top.
