Hi, I'm Stef

The short version

• Software engineer by training: a Bachelor of Informatics majoring in software engineering, and a qualified IBM AIX systems administrator.
• Enterprise and government work: contracting for large Australian corporate and government clients, and running national IT projects. One of them was processing 12.5 million records within a 12-hour window under strict security for the 1999 Australian Republic Referendum.
• Business owner: in 2003 I founded a managed IT services business that grew into a Brisbane-based provider for clients from Perth to New Zealand, including an early private cloud service.
• Hosting and security: more than a decade as the main administrator of a production hosting fleet of 30 servers and 800+ WordPress and WooCommerce sites, including security incident response, malware cleanups and hardening.
• Product founder: in 2026 I built and launched RC Driver Stats, a serverless SaaS product, with AI-assisted development.
